American Judaism is in decline. According to demographic projections published by the American Jewish Committee, the Jewish population of the United States is expected to fall by roughly 2 million over the next seventy years*. In the face of this crisis, small, grassroots communities like Beth Israel become critically important.
We are here because we believe in this place and what it represents to us. We are here because we believe that small, inclusive communities like ours can allow Judaism to survive and grow. And we are here because we believe that great things – for both our people and for all of humanity – can have humble beginnings.
For years, Beth Israel has been able to survive thanks to the generous support of its members. However, every year brings new challenges for us. In order for our community to continue to survive, we must now seek the support of Jews throughout the world, as well as the kindness of others who wish to see our people continue to exist. For this purpose, our congregation has decided to accept donations through Paypal. Please use the form below to donate to the West Temple via credit card or a pre-existing account. We accept donations of any amount, no matter how small . All donations to the West Temple are tax-deductible. Donations will be applied exclusively to the specific need or program selected in the “Mark Donation For” field.
Thank you for your help. Thank you for believing in us.
