Saturday, November 5, Our first Celebrate Shabbat of the school year! 9:30am Coffee, Nosh and Schmooze; 9:45am Lessons with the Rabbi; 10:45 am Worship Service; Noon Potluck Luncheon, bring a Dairy dish to share with others.
Reminder there is Cosmic Bowling for the High School students: 8pm to midnight.

We are co-hosting the NFTY Regional Kallah. Shabbat services on Saturday October 22 will be led by the regional youth group members. We are hosting 150 to 200 young people. This will be a unique experience, enjoy the youth led alternative service at 10am.

A Family Shared Shabbat Event: Friday March 4, 2011. Please join friends, fellow congregants and their guests for a Pot-Luck meal at 6pm. (Please bring a Dairy meal that feeds at least 10 persons….Hot it you live south of I-90, Cold if you live north of I-90). Bring your Shabbat candle sticks and candles for your table and non-perishable food for the Berea Food Bank. Services begin at 7:30.

Plan on spending a special Shabbat morning at Beth Israel, The West Temple. We will honor our High Holy Days Choir and accompanist Mel Arnoff.
9:30 – 9:24 am Nosh and Schmooze
9:45 – 10:45 am Rabbi will teach new sections from Pirkei Avot (The “Ethics of the Fathers”)
10:45 – 12 pm T’filah in the Sanctuary
Noon: Pot Luck Dairy Lunch (A – Lettofsky bring a hot meal, Lit – Z bring a cold meal to share)

Come light your Menorah with your Beth Israel-The West Temple Family. Hanukkah Dinner and Services Friday December 3rd, 2010. Dinner will begin at 6:00pm and Erev Shabbat Services at 7:30pm. Please bring a NON DAIRY DISH that will serve a minimum of 10 people. We will light up the Sanctuary with our Menorahs, so don’t forget to bring them. Price $4.00 per person, maximum $15.00 per family. Chicken and Potato Latkes will be provided. Please RSVP to Lynn Atzemhoffer as soon as possible (no later than Dec. 1, 2010)
