Contact Dee Lazarus

If you are planning on ordering more than 50 dreidels ((20 cents each/$19 for 100), a full box or more of milk chocolate gelt ($18 for 24 bags) or any parve gelt (bittersweet/75 each bag) please email me by November 3rd.  If you are interested in a special gift for someone, i.e. a princess menorah for your daughter, a mezzuzah and the scroll for a friend, candlesticks for newlyweds, call me.

Only the necessities will be ordered this year.  Copies of the catalog I will be ordering from will be available at the gift shop.  Please do not take them home and if I am not there, please call me at home.  (Pat will not be handling this!)  I will be there as often as possible.

Please contact Dee Lazarus with any questions.

Hanukkah Dinner Reminder

posted by Jon Stout on Sunday, December 13th, 2009

Hi Everyone…

Lynn Atzenhoffer is waiting to hear from you. Do you want to attend the Hanukkah Dinner next Friday, December 18? It starts at 6:00 p.m. Lynn will provide the chicken and latkes, and you can bring a NON dairy dish to share. Cost is $4 per person (a bargain!), maximum $15 for a family.

If you want to join us, contact Lynn whizzy-zip at home and let her know. (Members, check the Directory for Lynn’s contact information.) Or, she plans to be here Sunday morning for Religious School, so you could speak to her then.

  • Can you be here at 5:30 p.m.to help set up Ratner Hall for the dinner?
  • Can you help serve?
  • Can you help clean up?
  • Let Lynn know.

Once we’re finished with supper, we will troop up to the Sanctuary for Hanukkah candlelighting and a Service at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to bring your menorah. The children will cover the windowsills with aluminum foil to catch the drips and we will light ALL EIGHT CANDLES. It should look “awesome,” as my grandson would say.
After the Service, it’s back downstairs for an Oneg and dreidel games. A very festive Shabbat!
