Grief Support Group

posted by Myrna Pendery on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

The Grief Support Group is a group which meets every third Sunday.  It is a group for people who have lost someone dear to them, either recently or a while ago.  The group is open-ended.  Attending every session is not necessary.  The group is for support and to have others listen and help.  It is facilitated by Lisa Feldman and Laura Stout.  There is an email that goes out to the members as reminders of the upcoming meetings and the calendar of meetings is also accessible on the temple’s website.  Please feel free to come and join us. The meetings are held at temple on Sundays, at twelve-thirty, after Sunday school is over.  For the meetings that are on Sundays when there is no school, the meeting time is at eleven o’clock. The meetings last about an hour and a half.  Please email Lisa Feldman  or Laura Stout  if you have any questions.  We hope you will give the group a try if you feel that you want or need support about the grief you are experiencing. It has been very helpful already to the members who have been attending.  The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday November 7, 2010 at 12:30pm.
